Oil Still Life Painting – Wine, Grapes & Fruit Basket

This original oil painting is a classical still life composition, created to explore the harmony of everyday objects and the timeless beauty of traditional realism. The work features a wine bottle and glass, ripe grapes, apples, and a rustic wicker basket arranged on a wooden table with a white cloth.

My goal was to capture the rich textures, natural colors, and warm atmosphere of a dining table scene — a moment frozen in time, inviting the viewer to appreciate the quiet elegance of simple pleasures. The deep red of the wine contrasts with the soft green of the apples and the golden tones of the basket, while the grapes add a sense of abundance and vitality.

Using traditional oil painting techniques, I built up the composition with layered brushwork, subtle glazing, and careful attention to light and shadow. The result is a piece that blends realism with a painterly touch, paying homage to classical European still life art while reflecting my personal artistic voice.
